Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you start.
Fresh, additive-free plant milk for sunny kitchens.
Answers
Good to know before you start.
What ingredients can I use?
Almond, oat, soy, cashew, macadamia, coconut, rice, hemp and other seed-based milks all work beautifully. You can also use the Boil and Other functions for soups and smoothies.
Do I need to soak nuts first?
On the Room Temp program, soaking harder nuts like almonds for 6–8 hours gives an even smoother result. The Hot program, or softer ingredients like oats, cashews and coconut, need no soaking at all.
Why is my milk separating?
Because there are no artificial emulsifiers in homemade milk, a little separation is completely normal. Just give it a shake before serving.
How long does homemade plant milk last?
3–5 days in the fridge, stored in an airtight container.
Can I make hot milk or heat ingredients?
Yes, the heating functions make warm milks, soups and other hot recipes with the press of a button.
How do I clean it?
Use the Self-Clean function: rinse off any residue, add water, run the cycle and wipe the interior dry. Never immerse the base in water.
Why is there sediment in my milk?
That's completely normal. For a silkier texture, strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
My machine arrived damaged or faulty: what do I do?
Contact our support team with your order number, a few photos and a short description. We'll troubleshoot with you or arrange a replacement under warranty.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Yes, within 30 days, in original, resaleable condition, per our Refund Policy. Return shipping and any restocking may apply for change-of-mind returns.
Is homemade plant milk better for the environment?
It cuts down on carton and packaging waste significantly, and lets you control exactly what goes in, so there's less food waste too.
